No Where Else I'd Rather Be

Your right, I still need to blog about Halloween....and I will....soon. There are so many things going on in our lives right now; my career change, along with it's accompanying school, homework, and hard work at the hospital. Kylie getting a social life and pretty much growing up right before our very eyes, Broden doing so well at everything, Leilani and gymnastics, Kaxton....being a six year old boy and of course the babies....not to mention Daddy and his job paying for all of this!!!! I have so very many conflicting emotions, as we contemplate a move to Washington, taking our children from the country life they have always known, me working full time and becoming the primary bread winner, all the success that I feel as I work outside the home right now. So many things pulling us all away from this.......

I realize, that there is nowhere I'd rather be, than right here, right now...Today!

Kelby

I always dreamed (when I was growing up) that I would have a lot of boys. I've had three, each one totally different...but the same! This post I want to share the baby boy. In these childhood dreams of mine, I always fantasized that my boys would be best friends and do everything together. Broden, Kaxton and Kelby have yet to be "best friends" but I think they are on their way. Broden and Kelby have a special relationship, Kelby waits for Broden to come home off the bus every day, he loves to play with him and fight with him and tell on him......
Kelby is feisty

Kelby is soooo sweet

and smart! What a joy he has been in just these fun two years we have had him!

He is all boy and so funny. Currently his favorite things are: Veggie Tales, turkey sandwiches, playing "guys" with Broden, and snuggling in bed with Momma!

There you have it! Our beautiful family. This morning as I was getting ready for church, I was feeling so frustrated because of the amount of time it takes to get everyone out the door looking decent. There was a great deal of fighting and name calling, even some yelling by Kevin and I. No one likes to walk into sacrament meeting feeling like you could rip your kid's head off at any moment. Most Sundays are like this for me, all the way up until the opening hymn, I feel so much frustration! I am positive that the adversary would have me feel this way, especially after down loading these pictures and really looking through all that we have on this computer to document our children's upbringing. There is no doubt about it, I am so blessed and lucky that the Lord trusted me to raise these beautiful spirits.....even the ones going through puberty and the two year old ones that color on the baby.

DADDY!
Things are crazy right now, not just crazy, insane!!!! What was I thinking? Six children, full time school, full time work, gymnastics, volleyball, scouts, homework, sick babies, potty training, and on and on and onnnnnn. Last night as I finished a quiz in psychology and read a chapter of my Anatomy and Physiology, I was feeling so overwhelmed. (I know...on Sunday...Sorry Mom) When I finally emerged from the office, Kevin had put everyone to bed, folded Six loads of laundry, wiped down the kitchen, cleaned the living room.....need I say more? He just smiled at me, asked me how I did and we went to bed. I know that there is no way we could get clear through graduate school if he was a typical husband. He is the cream of the crop, he loves me unconditionally, (even in the throws of postpartum depression), he's an amazing daddy, he is HOT and Sexy, thus the six kids! Here's to you HON! I love you! Thanks for being my babies Daddy!

Life at the ZOO!!!

We went to Salt Lake this past weekend! We had so much fun! I love that the kids love riding the elevators and escalators more than anything. I love that the tall buildings were entertainment. I love that they begged to spend more time at Temple Square! When you live in Wyoming, Downtown Salt Lake City is really an eye opener!

Our Lovely Little Valley

This picture was taken on a rainy June afternoon this year. Kevin and I were on a drive trying to dispel some of my Baby Blues and stress from the classes I am taking to get ready for Nursing school. But the reason I posted this picture is not because of that particular memory, it is because this was the last day that I can remember really looking at summer and the Green, Fertility of it all. Oh how we love our beautiful valley! It's quiet, it's quaint, it's....lovely! Now that this summer semester is finally over and I think I did pretty well (U.S. Government...YUCK!). Now I can really enjoy this short summer season with my kids. I have all sorts of plans, the first of which is to go to the library and check out a purely empty and enjoyable Novel!

The First Boy Scout....

I have a really hard time with Scouts....please excuse me from this problem, as I was raised in a home with just girls. I have no idea what to do with all of the patches and pins and there seems to be such a huge amount of tasks to perform...and I am LAZY! Regardless, my oldest just loves Cub Scouts. He loves all of the activities and Pack Meetings. So aside from my obvious distaste for actually having to be a good mom and encouraging advancement in Scouts...He did it! He is officially a Boy Scout! Off with the Blue Shirt and on with the tan...

I realized last night that I have yet to take a picture of my darling first boy in all of his Cub Scout glory. So...at his last Cub Scout Pack meeting last night, I took a few pictures of him fully enjoying scouts!

Broden turned Eleven last week! Just to prove to me that he was growing up he asked for a triple layer Chocolate Cake for his birthday instead of his customary...Castle Cake, or Super Hero Cake...Those days are over for this Boy! He is now too big for that kind of nonsense, bring on the Yummy cakes baby!

JOY

This is our JOY!

Reece Tenney

4/20/2009

7lbs. 5oz.
This is Reece today! I got at least three compliments on how adorable she is today! Even our somewhat snobby Orthodontist said she belonged on a cover of a magazine! She is a fun baby!
